I am a bit disappointed with this product. Kawasaki has nothing to do with this. AllTradeTools makes it and licenses Kawasaki name. Specs above say 230 lbs. Box I got says 200. I hope it can open the lug nuts tightened by the nut cases at my oil changing place. I gave it 3 stars because for the price, it may be okay. I haven’t used it yet. joe

I am not a big online fan…always want to go to the store and see what I purchase.  But recently, I have come to enjoy Amazon.  Not only is the delivery quick and in many cases FREE, but the prices are many times lower.  I would frequent the health stores to purchase my vitamins and protein supplies.  It would be very inconvenience at times to drive to the store.  When I add up time and expense for me to go to the store and buy regular items like nutritional supplements, it is much easier to order from Amazon.  As my kids would say, nice to see you moving into the new century dad! smith

Recommended to all DYI’s as this is an affordable strong impact tool. I bought this Kawasaki 1/ 2-Inch Air Impact Wrench as my first air tool as I’m beginning as an automotive technician, have done DIY before but bought to work on my own vehicle. At first I doubted about its strength as it is mostly made of plastic. The doubt were for good reason the fitting to attach the air hose is attached to a plastic part whish if not careful it can be easily broken or get loose making the gun lose air. Besides that problem the unit is strong. saturn

I recently ordered a new zune hd off amazon for around 200$. It was expected to be delivered to my house by the 8th but it never made it. I went to the post office who wasn’t of any real help at all and they simply said they would call me back when they had more information which they never did. I figured i would have to go through a big battle with the post office to get my money back because i am 90% sure it was there fault. My house only has a small mall slot and if a package is too big for the slot the post office is suppose to leave a notice saying you need to pick it up. poopy

You don’t usually need the added torque of the IR, and you definitely don’t need a tool that works you harder. The lighter weight makes work faster and easier, and the CP is also quieter by around half. I’ve had mine for over 10 years. I wouldn’t have any of the $20-specials out there either. They look like tools, but they’re really just toys. New guys in the shop would invariably chuck them ASAP once they had the $$ for a real wrench. The only “normal” automotive job I’ve seen the CP struggle with is the big CV joint nuts on Hondas … most everything else in my experience was faster and easier. There are easy rebuild kits (that’s how my Dad’s is still in service after 30 years) that will make sure your CP734 is going strong indefinitely. ridenhour

I like this wrench because its not too powerful so its a little easier on the hands, but it has enough power to do pretty much everything the $200-$300 wrenches can do. A lot of IR wrenches vibrate and are very clangy, while CP guns feel stable and the noise is muffled. jr

I purchased this at the recommendation of a friend with the same model. I have a small IR compressor that spits out 5.3 CFM @ 40 psi and less at 90. Most of the wrenches needed more CFM but this one was on the low side. I am very happy to report that it gets the job done for me even with the low CFM. I am not using the gun @ NASCAR but for odd jobs around the house, it works fine. Could it work better with more CFM? Absolutely but if you use it in bursts, it works well. Construction is solid and it feels like a tool that will last for a long while. willr2510

That’s right. Our shop uses these 231′s for regular duty and tire service. These things last for years despite being dropped on the floor, not oiled regularly, and zero maintenance. Typically the power selector knobs are the first thing to go on these wrenches. If you need good performance and a tool that will last a long time then this is your wrench. montoya

I’m a professional diesel mechanic, and I will not buy any other impact but this one. My first one lasted me for 10 years, through drops, kicks, no oiling, etc. I only don’t have it anymore because I moved and sold it to a friend who still uses it. I have put this thing head to head with impacts 3 times the price of this one, and it has always been the strongest and most powerful. Most of the people in my last shop borrowed mine because it was the most powerful in the shop, and nearly everyone at my new shop has one. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. hoag

I bought this for my hausband whom is a full time mechanic with his own business. He had an old Ingersoll Rand impact that was given to him and it lasted several years before finally wearing completely out. This one is GREAT!! He absolutely LOVES it. It is fast and powerful. HE says he would recommend it to ANYONE! great price, too. michele

I purchased this impact to assist in removing my wheels on my truck for rotation/tire changing, removing blades on my lawnmower for sharpening, etc. This impact has worked great for these purposes. Has a nice boost of power when you first hit the trigger to help with stubborn lug nuts. jonathan
